ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ Stay Hungry Stay Foolish

ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನನಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಎರಡು ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ Stay Hungry Stay Foolish ಕೂಡ ಒಂದು. ಬರೆದದ್ದು ರಶ್ಮಿ ಬನ್ಸಾಲ್ ಎಂಬ ಅಹಮದಾಬಾದ್ ಐಐಎಂನ ಹಳೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ. ಈಗ ಜಾಮ್‌ಮ್ಯಾಗ್ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಪಾದಕಿ. ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕ 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ಪ್ರತಿಗಳ ಮಾರಾಟ ದಾಟಿದೆ. ಇದೀಗ ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಅವತರಣಿಕೆಯೂ ಬಂದಿದೆ ಅಂತ ಈಗ ಗೊತ್ತಾಯ್ತು. ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಮಿತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ ಸಾಧಕರಿಗೆ ಕೊನೆ ಇಲ್ಲ - ಅಂತ ಶಿರ್ಷಿಕೆಯಂತೆ. 325 ಪುಟ, 150 ರುಪಾಯಿ. ಜುಲೈ 2ರಂದು, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಖುದ್ದು ರಶ್ಮಿ ಬನ್ಸಾಲ್ ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರಂತೆ.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷಾಂತರ ಯಾರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಯಾರು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂತ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. (ನಾನಾಗಲೀ, ಕನ್ನಡಪ್ರಭ ಸಂಪಾದಕ ಎಚ್. ಆರ್. ರಂಗನಾಥ್ ಅವರಾಗಲೀ ಈ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಭಾಷಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಕೆಲಸದ ಗಡಿಬಿಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.)

ನೌಕ್ರಿ ಡಾಟ್ ಕಾಮ್, ಮೇಕ್ ಮೈ ಟ್ರಿಪ್ ಡಾಟ್ ಕಾಮ್, ಸುಭಿಕ್ಷಾ, ರೇಣುಕಾ ಶುಗರ್ಸ್, ಎಜುಕಾಂಪ್, ಸಿಂಟೆಕ್ಸ್, ಆರ್ಕಿಡ್ ಹೊಟೆಲ್, ಮುಂತಾದ ಅನೇಕ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಐಐಎಂಎ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ 25 ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಕಥೆಗಳಿವೆ. ಸಂಬಳಕ್ಕೆ ನೌಕರಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಬದಲಿಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಮಾಲಿಕರಾಗುವ ಯುವಕರ ನಿಜ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಇವು. Very Inspiring.

ರಶ್ಮಿ ಈಗ ಎರಡನೇ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರಂತೆ. ಹೊಸ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ.

An Update by Mr. Bedre Manjunath : SHSF Kannada Version hss been published by Vassan Publications, Bangalore and the translation has come up nicely. But, don't know who the translator is. It is a recent trend with the publishers that they pay the translator some amount and drop his or her name from the book. It is only Sri Visweswar Bhat who got his name published in You Can Win. All others are not ready to publish the name of the translator. They want the product but they don't want the creator! Great guns! Even in this case the name of the translator has not been published.
